Everyone has a passion. Mine is editing nonfiction.
Whatever the challenge, I help my clients get where they need to go—resolving big-picture structural issues, handling the nuts and bolts of usage and style, and everything in between.
The portfolio below features my editing and writing. Please contact me to learn more about my services.
I am a Philly area-based nonfiction editor working in several subjects and genres, including US history, education, the environment, immigration studies, sports, and oral history.
Over the past two decades, I’ve built up an editing portfolio of more than a hundred titles. My clients include the History of Education Quarterly, The New Press, Verso Books, Haymarket Books, and Beacon Press.
As a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association and ACES: The Society for Editing, I’m always looking for opportunities to sharpen my skills and keep apprised of the latest developments in the editing field.
