Quraysh Ali Lansana and Georgia A. Popoff, editors of The Whiskey of Our Discontent
  • A thoughtful and astonishingly thorough copy editor.

    Paul Le Blanc, Author
  • Haymarket Books happily relies on Brian’s careful, thoughtful copy editing. It doesn’t hurt that he is also fast, reliable, and a great communicator! It’s a pleasure to work with him and our books truly benefit from his excellent eye.

Rachel Cohen, Production Editor at Haymarket Books
  • I work with Brian Baughan regularly and look forward to doing so in the future—he’s a smart, conscientious, eagle-eyed editor with an excellent ear for the author’s voice and a keen sense of structure.

Sarah Grey, Founder of Grey Editing

He was fast, professional, communicative, and creative in how he approached and executed the project. I would hire him again, and you should too.

Elaine Gast Fawcett, President of Four Winds Writing, Inc.
  • Brian did a magnificent job walking me through the copyediting process while I revised my manuscript for publication. . . . If you’re looking for someone reliable, organized, and insightful to help you with the sometimes tedious process of copy editing and revising, Brian should be at the top of your list.

Bianca Williams, Assistant Professor, University of Colorado Boulder
  • Brian’s edits and fine work added much-needed clarity, direction, and organization while bringing my viewpoint into focus.
